| Q:I don't have teaching experience. |
A:The applicants who have teaching experience will be advantageous. We have 6-8 hour training for you before you are sent your school(s). We are looking for people who meet with "Request from our client" (you can see this  ) |
| Q:I don't speak Japanese at all. |
| A:Since there are not Japanese-English teachers in Elementary school, it is hard to send ALTs who don't speak Japanese at all to us. However, it is not going to be a big problem if it's Junior high school. So we consider your Japanese ability and decide which school you are suitable for. Some of current ALTs don't speak Japanese a lot, but since they always talk with school teachers in English slowly, clearly, and try to communicate a lot, they don't have language problems. |
| Q:Does W5 Staff Services Co., Ltd. support my visa? |
| A:If you don't have proper working visa or need your current visa to be renewed, we are able to provide all documents to apply. However, we would like to ask you to cover applying fee by yourself. (Visa is a very complicated situation. We will inform you more information when we have an interview.) |
| Q:I have never been to Japan, don' have anyone who I know in Japan. What kind of support do I receive from W5 Staff Services Co., Ltd. ? |
| A:There are more than 150 ALTs in our company. You can always get help or support from your co-workers and ourselves. W5 Staff Services Co., Ltd. will also support your housing, such as finding an apartment for you or providing you real estate agency information. |
| Q:I read I need to eat school lunch with students on the another page but I am a vegetarian. |
| A:Some schools let you make your own lunch (not hamburger, chips, juice, etc) and eat your lunch with students. Some schools don't. We will send you to school which you can bring your own lunch. |
| Q:How many schools do I work at? |
| A:It depends. Average is 3 to 5. |
| Q:Can I choose my work location and school? |
| A:We ask you your reference, but it is not guaranteed. We will send you to suitable area and school for you as well as the Board of Education, our client, since they also have right to decide. |
